In 2021 we launched our bold new strategic plan, aiming to reach 25,000 healthcare workers by 2025. Our major achievement this year – and a key step in achieving this ambition – was the official launch of our PCI Academy: PCI’s learning hub for primary care practitioners working globally. Over the course of 2021 we delivered over 4000 hours of online learning and 84 hours of live workshops via the Academy. We reached healthcare workers in 43 countries and 92% of these are changing their practice as a result of our training.
We’ve also been working with partners to support quality standards accross primary care systems, and continuing our work to support the integration of NCD care into primary health care in a variety of settings.
