PCI is delighted to have been selected as a recipient of the prestigious UN Interagency Task Force for NCDs and the WHO Special Programme on Primary Health Care Award. The award recognises our work in technical and advocacy support to promote integrated primary healthcare across the world, by adapting NCD-related normative guidance, as well as by promoting multisectoral partnerships to strengthen primary healthcare and tackle NCDs.
The 2022 Awards were presented to PCI and the other winners during the UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting in New York, at the UN Interagency Task Force for the Prevention and Control on Noncommunicable Diseases Friends of the Task Force side event on 21 September 2022.
