Help guide our work to strengthen primary healthcare: PCI seeks new Board members

As part of our efforts to strengthen, expand and diversify, we are currently recruiting up to three new Non-Executive Directors to join our Board.

Given that we work so substantially in low- and middle-income (LMIC) settings, we are particularly interested in bringing onto the Board people with lived experience in such settings.

We welcome applications both from practising primary healthcare professionals as well as from non-clinicians with other professional backgrounds. We are particularly looking for Directors with any of the following expertise:

  • Experience of living and/or working in LMIC (including humanitarian settings) particularly on primary healthcare programmes
  • Experience of working with large international institutions or Ministries of Health in LMIC on health systems strengthening or related social impact programmes
  • Legal expertise; general law, contract law, intellectual property law would be particularly useful
  • Expertise in digital health, particularly in LMIC settings, and particularly in the training, learning and development space.

We expect that Board members will currently be living in the UK (or spend time in the UK and are able to attend meetings and away days in the UK at their own cost).

More information and the full role description is outlined here. Please apply by November 2nd.
